Our ingredient spotlight for the CBD infused peanut includes – organic dry roasted peanut butter, MCT Oil, honey and CBD.  Yes! Honey! Honey is a superfood because of its many benefits for both humans and dogs. It’s sweet, filled with antioxidants, provides the benefits of several vitamins and minerals, provides relief from allergies and skin irritations, and gives your dog a quick energy boost when they need it.

Our next powerful ingredient is Medium Chain Triglycerides (MCT) Oil, also known as coconut oil. Coconut oil comes from the meat of coconuts harvested form the coconut palm. Coconut oil consists of at least 90% of saturated “good “ fats which provide many benefits and are a source of fuel and energy. MCTs provide an additional source of anti-inflammatory and anti-bacterial properties.

Our third and most important ingredient is organic, full spectrum CBD. This form of CBD oil captures all the fatty acids, cannabinoids (like CBN, CBG, and .03% or less THC), terpenes, and flavonoids that exist naturally in the hemp plant.

Why Full-Spectrum CBD Oil?

Our blend includes organic full-spectrum CBD oil, MCT oil, and chamomile oil.  All Penelope’s Bloom CBD products are made with full-spectrum CBD oil versus broad spectrum oil because it has more components that truly make it more valuable. Full-spectrum CBD oil includes the leaf, stalk, and seeds of the hemp plant. The final product includes all naturally present cannabinoids, terpenes, flavonoids and fatty acids. Full spectrum oil contains vitamins, essential fats and protein. This is sometimes called the “entourage effect” the idea that every cannabinoids works together to produce a desired effect.  Studies have shown full-spectrum CBD has longer lasting effects compared to other oils.
