Why Full-Spectrum CBD oil?

Our blend includes organic full-spectrum CBD oil, MCT oil, and chamomile oil. All Penelope’s Bloom CBD products are made with full-spectrum CBD oil versus broad spectrum oil because it has more components that truly make it more valuable. Full-spectrum CBD oil includes the leaf, stalk, and seeds of the hemp plant. The final product includes all naturally present cannabinoids, terpenes, flavonoids and fatty acids. Full spectrum oil contains vitamins, essential fats and protein. This is sometimes called the “entourage effect” the idea that every cannabinoids works together to produce a desired effect.

•Cannabinoids – There are more than 100 cannabinoids present in hemp plants; CBD, CBG and many more among them.
•Terpenes – These are responsible for hemp’s fragrance. Terpenes, for the most part, make up the hemp plant’s essential oil.
•Flavonoids – These are found in all kinds of plants including everyday fruits, vegetables, and more.

Our first ingredient, chamomile, has been used for generations to support a calm mood and settled digestion.

Our second ingredient is MCT oil, made from coconuts. It is a light, easily digested carrier oil that helps deliver the CBD.

Our third and most important ingredient is organic, full spectrum CBD. This form of CBD oil captures all the fatty acids, cannabinoids (like CBN, CBG, and 0.3% or less THC), terpenes, and flavonoids that exist naturally in the hemp plant.

How Do I Give CBD Oil to My Pet?

If your pet is tolerant of handling, you may administer CBD oil directly to the gums via the provided eyedropper dispenser. However, if your pet won’t stay still for this method, it is also effective to mix the desired dose of CBD pet oil with a meal or a snack. Due to CBD’s lipophilic nature, CBD oils for pets are absorbed more effectively if your pet has eaten something. For best effectiveness, we do not recommend giving your pet CBD oil on an empty stomach.

How Much CBD Can I Give My Pet?

We recommend starting your dog or pet off slowly, with half the suggested CBD oil serving. This way you can gauge how the CBD affects your pet. CBD tinctures make it easy to increase their dosage slightly every day until you find the dosage that’s just right for your pet’s needs.

Can I Give My Dog CBD Oil Every Day?

Yes. Dogs and other pets can take CBD oil daily, if they need it. CBD also can be administered on an occasional basis if that suits your pet’s individual needs. Though CBD oil is safe for dogs and cats, we strongly recommend you stick to our recommended dosage. Side effects for CBD are rare, but generally occur because the dog or pet has taken more than the recommended dosage. So, if you have a CBD product like treats, make sure they’re stored where your dog can’t get to them.

Does CBD Interact with Other Drugs?

CBD is known to inhibit cytochrome P450 and may interfere with metabolizing other drugs. If your pet is currently on medications, we advise speaking with your veterinarian before giving your pet CBD. In most cases, interactions are medically insignificant. Nevertheless, consulting with your veterinarian before beginning any new health supplement is always a good idea.

Dogs Seizures have decreased significantly

I have had some decent luck with thus brand and I would and have recommended it to friends. My dog has Hydrocephalus (water on the brain) which causes seizures and tremors and since I started giving her this CBD the tremors have gone away and her seizures aren't nearly as frequent as they were.

Absolute life saver!!!

My dog Joe a Cairn Terrier has recently been diagnosed with osteo arthritis. He had a terrible limp. He could not jump or even scratch his snoot with his back paw. We started him on the CBD oil daily along with a joint supplemental and he is Soooo much better! No limp and he is now able to scratch the snoot with his back paw again! Absolutely recommend 💯 . I gave 4 stars instead of 5 because dealing with late auto ship was burdensome. I order the CBD myself each month now and have no issues.

So far seems to be working

We have a dog with aggressive tendencies. She is a rescue with a hard past prior to us adopting her and the cbd seems to help her relax some. We also give it at night to our senior dog and seems to help her have a restful night of sleep. So far a big fan of this product.
